M.R.T. Laboratory

Wellcome to the M.R.T.

The M.R.T. Laboratory is a Laboratory of the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano. In compliance with standard EN 442-2 (test standard for heat emitters) it is a European Reference Laboratory.

Laboratory has activated a Quality System compliant with the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard as far as applicable, operates in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 17025 standard.

Until 2021 we were accredited by ACCREDIA (Centro LAT 104, Sector of heating elements) as a calibration laboratory for thermostatic chambers built in accordance with EN442.

From 2021 we are accreditated by ACCREDIA as Site I of LAB 00140 (Milan Polytechnic) for the following tests:

The Laboratory is recognized by CERTITA and works for the release of the NF mark for heating bodies. This certification is recognized under the aegis of RADMAC also by BSI, DINCERTCO, RAL, AENOR.

We also collaborate with the CTI (Italian Thermotechnical Committee) for the heating bodies sector.

MRT laboratory is notified by the Ministry of Economic Development for the Construction Products Regulation (CPR 305/11). It is registered as a Notified Body (NB), on the NANDO website, with the number 1695, in compliance with the harmonized European standard EN 442-1 for the CE marking of the heating bodies. Participates with a coordinating role at SG03- WG1 of the CPR / Technical sector. It is a European Laboratory calibrated through Round Robin in compliance with Annex J and K of the EN 442 standard. It is included in the list of calibrated European notified laboratories, reported on the CIRCABC.EU website
